Active Ingredients and Mechanism of Action
active ingredient
- Imidacloprid
- Content: 25%
- Formulation: Wettable Powder (WP)
mechanism of action
Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid insecticide that primarily acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect nervous system, disrupting normal nerve transmission and causing pests to rapidly cease feeding, become paralyzed, and ultimately die.
It has excellent systemic activity; after application, the product is rapidly absorbed by the plant’s roots, stems, and leaves and transported throughout the entire plant, providing effective control even against pests in hidden areas.
Product Features
1. Highly effective and broad-spectrum
It provides excellent control against sucking pests such as aphids, planthoppers, whiteflies, thrips, and leafhoppers.
2. Strong systemic translocation
The pesticide is rapidly absorbed by plants, has a long residual effect, and improves the reliability of pest control.
3. Fast-acting
After coming into contact with the pesticide, pests quickly stop feeding, thereby reducing damage to crops.
4. Long-lasting
A single application can control pest populations for an extended period, reducing the number of applications required.
5. Easy to use
Wettable powders are easy to dilute and disperse well, making them suitable for spraying on field crops and cash crops.
