Description
Diethylammonium chloride
Generic Name: triazolone
Dosage Form and Strength: 25% Wettable Powder (WP)
English Name: Triadimefon 25% WP
Product Category: Systemic triazole fungicides
Product Overview
Triazole is a highly effective, broad-spectrum, systemic triazole fungicide that provides protective, curative, and eradicative action. The product is rapidly absorbed by plant roots, stems, and leaves and is translocated throughout the plant, effectively controlling fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, and black smut on a wide range of crops.
25% wettable powder features good suspension properties, uniform dispersion, and strong adhesion, making it suitable for the integrated management of diseases in grain crops, cash crops, and horticultural crops.
Mechanism of Action of Active Ingredients
Triazole is a sterol demethylation inhibitor (DMI-class fungicide), and its primary mechanism of action is as follows:
- Inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol in the cell membranes of pathogenic bacteria;
- Interferes with the normal formation of bacterial cell membranes;
- Inhibits the growth of fungal hyphae and spore germination;
- Prevent the spread and reinfection of pathogens.
Due to its strong systemic activity, the pesticide takes effect quickly once it enters the plant, providing effective prevention and treatment against diseases.
Product Features
1. Broad-spectrum and highly effective
It provides excellent control of a wide range of fungal diseases, with particularly significant efficacy against powdery mildew and rust.
2. Strong systemic activity
The pesticide is rapidly absorbed by plants and transported throughout the plant, providing long-lasting protection.
3. Dual Role in Protection and Treatment
It can be used both for prevention before the disease occurs and for effective treatment during the early stages of the disease.
4. Long-lasting
A single application provides long-lasting protection, reducing the number of applications required.
5. Easy to use
Wettable powders have good dispersibility, are easy to mix with water for spraying, and are generally compatible with most conventional pesticides.

When applying the product, adjust the dosage appropriately based on local plant protection guidelines, the severity of the disease, and the crop’s growth stage.
Guidelines for use
Application period
- It is recommended to apply preventive treatments at the early stages of disease onset or before symptoms appear;
- During periods of high disease incidence, apply the pesticide 1–2 times in succession at 7–10-day intervals, depending on the severity of the infection.
Spraying Requirements
- Spray evenly and thoroughly to ensure that both sides of the leaves are fully covered with the pesticide;
- It is recommended to apply the pesticide in the morning or evening when there is no wind.
Blending Recommendations
- Can be mixed with most insecticides and foliar fertilizers;
- It is recommended to avoid mixing this product with strongly alkaline pesticides;
- Before blending on a large scale, it is recommended to conduct a small-scale trial first.
Resistance management
To delay the development of resistance, it is recommended to rotate the use of fungicides with different modes of action.
Important Notes
- When applying the pesticide, wear protective gear to prevent the pesticide solution from coming into contact with your skin or eyes;
- Do not apply pesticides during periods of high winds or high temperatures;
- Clean the sprayer promptly after applying the pesticide;
- The product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place;
- Keep out of reach of children and away from food and feed storage areas.
Summary of Product Advantages
Triazole 25% wettable powder, with its excellent systemic activity, broad-spectrum control, and stable residual efficacy, is widely used for disease control in grain crops, fruit trees, vegetables, and cash crops, making it an important fungicide in modern integrated pest management.
