Description
I. Product name
Rice Blight Control (Tricyclazole) 40% Emulsifiable Concentrate
II. Active Ingredients and Mechanisms of Action
Active Ingredient: Rice Blight Fungicide (Tricyclazole)
Rice Blight Control is a systemic fungicide specifically designed to control rice blast; it belongs to the class of melanin biosynthesis inhibitors (MBI).
Mechanism of Action:
Rice Blight Control works by inhibiting the rice blast fungus (Magnaporthe oryzae) During the infection process, the formation of melanin blocks the normal development of the appressoria, preventing the pathogen from penetrating the plant’s epidermis and thereby effectively inhibiting the infection process.
Its characteristics are as follows:
- PossessingFocus on prevention
- Possesses a certain degree ofTherapeutic and Protective Effects
- It has strong systemic activity and can be transported upward within the plant
III. Product characteristics
- Highly Effective Control of Rice Blast: Effective against both leaf blight and ear-neck blight
- Highly systemic: Can be absorbed by rice roots and leaves and transported throughout the plant
- long-lasting: Longer-lasting protection, fewer applications
- Relatively safe: Safe for rice at the recommended dose
- Highly adaptable: Can be used in rotation with various fungicides to delay the development of resistance
IV. Usage and dosage
Suitable crops:
- maize
Target Pests:
- Rice Blight (Leaf Blight, Node Blight, and Panicle Neck Blight)
Directions for Use:
| Period of Use | Mode of application | Dosage |
| Early Stage of Leaf Blight | Spray | 40% emulsifiable concentrate, 20–30 ml per mu |
| Ear-forming stage | Spray | 40% emulsifiable concentrate, 30–40 ml per mu |
| Before and After Ear Emergence | Prioritize the Control of Ear-Neck Blight | 40% emulsifiable concentrate, 40–50 ml per mu |
Recommended water dilution rate: 30–45 kg per mu; apply as a uniform spray
V. Guidance for use
1. Application Timing
- Preventive application is most effective in the early stages of disease onset or before conditions become favorable for disease development.
- Avoid applying pesticides in hot, sunny weather or during strong winds.
2. Application Methods
- Apply using a fine, even mist to ensure even coverage on both sides of the leaves.
- Maintaining a shallow layer of water in rice paddies helps the roots absorb nutrients
3. Blending Recommendations
- can be used withTricyclazole, Azoxystrobin, FenpropimorphUse in rotation
- Avoid using products with the same mechanism of action exclusively for extended periods of time
4. Important Notes
- Use as directed; avoid exceeding the recommended dose.
- Avoid draining immediately after application
- Pesticide applicators must wear protective gear (gloves, masks).
- Prevent Water Source Contamination
