Description

Methomyl·Indoxacarb 160 g/L Suspension Concentrate

I. Product name

Methomyl·Indoxacarb 160 g/L Suspension Concentrate
Emamectin Benzoate · Indoxacarb 160 g/L SC
Active ingredient content: Avermectin benzoate (Avermectin) 40 g/L + Indoxacarb 120 g/L
delivery mechanism of a medicine (e.g. pill, powder etc): Suspension Concentrate (SC)
norm: 100 mL / 500 mL / 1 L / 5 L

II. Mechanisms of action of active ingredients

Dual-target synergistic insecticidal action with no cross-resistance

forms

active ingredient Function Category Targets and Mechanisms of Action
Methamidophos Macrolides (Avermectin Derivatives) Activating the nervous system of insectsGlutamate-gated chloride channels... enhances GABA-mediated chloride ion influx, blocks nerve signal transmission, and causes rapid paralysis and death in pests
Indoxacarb Oxazolide sodium channel blockers Pro-insecticides, which are metabolized into active metabolites within the insect's bodyDCJW, Irreversible Voltage-Gated BlockingSodium Ion Channel...inhibits the transmission of nerve impulses, causing the pests to stop feeding and die
Synergy: Methoxychlor is responsible for rapid knockdown and egg killing, while indoxacarb blocks sodium channels; there is no cross-resistance between the two, and they are highly effective against highly resistant Lepidoptera pests.

III. Product characteristics

  • Dual-Mechanism Synergy: Dual neurotoxin action effectively delays and overcomes the development of pest resistance
  • Broad spectrum of insecticidal activity: Highly effective against Lepidoptera larvae (rice leaf roller, second-generation rice stem borer, beet armyworm, cabbage looper, cotton bollworm)
  • Highly permeable: The suspension concentrate has a fine particle size, forming a uniform film on the plant surface that is resistant to rain wash-off.
  • Both Fast-Acting and Long-Lasting: Stop feeding 2 hours after application; insects die within 1–2 days; residual effectiveness lasts 10–14 days
  • Kill eggs and larvae: Methoxychlor exhibits high activity against eggs and newly hatched larvae, thereby reducing the initial pest population.
  • Environmentally Friendly Formulations: Water-based suspension concentrate; no organic solvent odor; safe for applicators

IV. Usage and dosage

Applicable crops: Rice, cabbage, cauliflower, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, apples, citrus fruits, cotton

forms

prevention and treatment target Applicable crops dilution factor Application Rate (Amount of Formulation per Mu)
Rice Leafroller, Two-Generation Rice Borer maize 1,500–2,000 times 20–30 mL
Cabbage looper, beet armyworm cruciferous vegetable 1,000–1,500 times 30–40 mL
Cotton bollworm, red bollworm wool 1,000–1,500 times 40–50 mL
Leafminer, Peach Fruit Worm Fruit Trees 1,500–2,000 times 20–30 mL
Method of application: Apply the spray during the early larval stages (instars 1–3) of the pest, focusing on the tender leaves in the middle and upper parts of the crop as well as the terminal leaves, ensuring that the spray evenly covers both sides of the leaves.

V. Guidance for use

✅ Best Time to Apply Pesticides

  • Critical Window: Treatment is most effective during the peak hatching period of pest eggs through the 1st to 3rd instar larval stages; older larvae exhibit significantly increased resistance to the pesticide.
  • Time Selection: Apply the pesticide in the evening or early morning to avoid the high temperatures and strong sunlight of midday, thereby reducing evaporation of the pesticide solution.

✅ Mixing Pesticides and Spraying

  • secondary dilution: First, use a small amount of water to prepare a stock solution of the chemical; stir until thoroughly mixed, then add a sufficient amount of water.
  • Water quality requirements: Use neutral water (pH 6–7); avoid mixing with alkaline substances
  • Spraying equipment: Use a fine-mist spray nozzle to ensure that the spray covers the undersides of the leaves and hard-to-reach areas.

⚠️ Notes

  1. safety interval: 14 days for rice, 7 days for vegetables, 14 days for fruit trees, and 7 days for cotton
  2. Resistance management: Do not apply more than twice per growing season; it is recommended to rotate its use with chlorantraniliprole, abamectin, and other products.
  3. Aquatic Organisms: Highly toxic to fish, bees, and silkworms; keep away from water sources, apiaries, and mulberry groves when applying this product.
  4. Combination Contraindications: Avoid mixing with strongly alkaline pesticides (Bordeaux mixture, lime-sulfur solution)
  5. Precautionary Measures: Wear protective clothing, a mask, and rubber gloves when applying the pesticide, and wash thoroughly after application.
